Miss Tami
Tami Mostert grew up in Allen, Texas and has been dancing since the age of 2. She attended Cindy’s School of Dance for 16 years where she competed on the competition team before graduating. During her competition years she received several convention scholarships. Her favorite scholarship was a summer unlimited class scholarship at EDGE Performing Arts Center, where she went during a summer in college and took class all summer! Tami attended Oklahoma City University as a Dance Management major and performed in numerous shows as a member of the American Spirit Dance Company. She has performed with Larrwell Productions at the Mary Kay National Seminars. She also performed for Sally Beauty Supply National Seminars and several Chuck E.Cheese videos. She was a dancer for Carnival Cruise Lines for several contracts and met her husband while working for the cruise lines. Tami has also performed at Casa Manana in the ensemble for Evita and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. She worked for a community theater in Napa, California where she was in the ensemble for Cabaret. Tami taught for her home-town studio for several years before starting a family and moving around the country. She is now settled in north Fort Worth with her family and is back teaching at Eminence Dance Complex. Tami also has her full comprehensive Pilates certification, CrossFit certification, and OPEX Strength and Conditioning certification. When she’s not teaching dance, she loves to workout and learn about nutrition and health. When Tami’s not teaching dance or working out, you will find her camping with her family and their dog!
